Experience
Teaching is special to me because I enjoy helping people overcome learning obstacles. I have found that relating material to real-life experiences is effective as everyone has a unique learning style. As a tutor of over 10 years, I have constantly attempted to relate to the student on a personal level. I graduated from the Peabody Institute of John Hopkins University with a bachelor's degree in music education and saxophone performance. In 2014, I obtained a master's degree in anatomy and clinical health science from the University of Delaware, making me a well-rounded instructor. Subjects that I have taught include elementary and middle school math, algebra, physiology, calculus, AP music theory, basic and honors chemistry, anatomy, science, trigonometry, and geometry. Currently, I reside in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, and perform as a classically trained jazz musician. Aside from teaching, I love golfing, hiking, and playing tennis. My hobbies also include enjoying a game of chess, and playing the piano, clarinet, and saxophone.
