Experience
I am a writing tutor, first and foremost. I am comfortable tutoring 11th grade and higher, particularly in subjects with an academic bent. I maintained a 4.0 GPA while in university, where I excelled in research and writing classes. In law school, I continued to excel at legal writing within my classes, and my student comment was published in the Penn State Law Review in March 2014 (Native American Oral Tradition: Reliable Evidence or Useless Myth?). Most recently, I've written articles for FluentU, a language learning startup, and I've been accepted to the speculative fiction writing workshop Viable Paradise. My legal and academic backgrounds have made me realize how effective a writing teacher can be. I have learned from mentors how to use precise and stylistically appropriate language and organization to convey the ideas or arguments to a reader. I am confident I can help you achieve your desired level of academic, legal, or essay writing! In addition, I have a passion for foreign languages and have reached proficiency in French and Spanish. I have unique techniques for learning foreign languages, grounded in immersion and real-life sources, that can help improve your understanding and speaking level. I am available to meet online through Skype or at the University of Delaware campus.
