I graduated from Wesleyan University in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. GPA 3.89.
Experience
I have been a teacher-naturalist with the Delaware Nature Society for the past year, teaching nature programs to students ranging in age from 3 years old to 7th grade. I have enjoyed teaching and want to continue teaching through tutoring. In college I was a mentor for a small group of students struggling in the introductory biology class. I met weekly with them to clarify topics, help with homework questions, and review for exams. While my degree is in Biology, I also have taken several English literature courses and history courses. SAT Scores: Math 760, Verbal 790 (taken before the essay portion was added). I took 8 AP courses in high school, with scores of 4 or 5.
